Alexandra (she/they) is an interdisciplinary theatre and filmmaker. Her writing moves across themes + forms and her acting explores performance as a visceral, full body experience. She is a founding member of Helicopter Hat Co., a theatre company that seeks to create inventive, devised theatre around contemporary topics.

She received her MFA in Acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England where she was awarded the Bonnie Hurren Prize for Excellence. Alexandra is currently playing pretend in New York City with the goal to create work internationally. She has trained at LAMDA and The University of Minnesota - where she received degrees in Theatre Performance Creation, Global Environmental Sustainability, and Gender + Sexuality Studies.

They are crazy about art that expands our ways of thinking + surprises us along the way.  Their passion is making relatable stories that search for joy in mess +  beauty in a little chaos.

When not creating or performing, Al can be found gawking at other people's pets, climbing rocks, marathon training, + learning new skills.
